EMPLOY AUTOFILL (OFFICE)




  1. Click the Sales tab.
  2. In cell A1, type:
    Frog Sales
    Make this text Arial, 12 point, bold:
  1. In cell A3, type:
    January
  2. In cell B3, type:
    February
  3. In cell C3, type:
    March
  4. Highlight cells A3 through C3.
    1. Place the cursor on the Fill Handle.
      It should turn into a black cross:
    2. Drag the cursor to cell L3.
      1. Release the mouse button.
        The months should fill in consecutively:
      2. In cell A4, type:
        10
      3. In cell B4, type:
        20
      4. Highlight cells A4 and B4, then place the cursor on the Fill Handle.
        1. Drag it to cell L4.
          The numbers should fill in, in increments of 10:
        2. In cell N3, type:
          Total
        3. Click cell N4, then click the  icon.
          1. Drag over all the cells with numbers in them.
            They should be surrounded by "marching ants":
          2. Press ENTER.
            The yearly total of 780 frogs sold should appear:
          3. Save the workbook.
